from   ‘’Il Messaggero’’, 2016Tommaso Flores' photographic project develops within the context of the city of Los
Santos, virtual double of Los Angeles, in the hugely popular video game GTA.
The photographer's unprecedented point of view portrays a decidedly noir reality, in which lights and shadows they forcefully outline the scene, creating a stage for events of ordinary violence. Flores introduces, in a world of augmented reality, a fourth dimension in which violence it becomes a spectacle. The character that emerges in the project is that of a homicidal attacker, who portrays human madness, common in today's society, through the camera of his smartphone. The victims of his carnage are artfully arranged, as if to create a perfect choreography. Reinterpreting very current issues, the author takes them to extremes and presents them again with the
own personal point of view. The context of the events portrayed in the Add:Reality snapshots
it is, therefore, incredibly familiar to the observer, who manages to contextualize reality hypothetical of the photographic project, in one's daily life. The Street elements are evident Photography in the style of Flores, which transfers the instantaneousness of this photographic genre into one increased size, bends the simulation to his artistic ambitions.
